Frequently Asked Questions
Hey. Let's face it. These days everybody is way too busy and over committed, and many times it just seems impossible
to get everyone together for that all important meeting. We can't gaurentee that you are going to find a time when
everyone is available, but we can definately help you make the best decision possible.
Who
- Who would use this site?
Anyone trying to coordinate with a bunch of folks trying to set a meeting or event time when all critical people can
be there, and when the most of the rest of the people can be there too.
What
- What do you do?
Set up an event, select some times and places for your event. Select the people that should attend
and prioritize them by whether they are required, requested, or it is just a courtesy in case they are interested.
Then just send out the invitations. Your people will respond and select the times where they are available and
indicate their preferences for each time as preferred, acceptable or not available.
The system will then calculate the score of each event time to determine "when is a good time" for your event.
As organizer you select the best meeting from the list and finalize the time with everyone.
When
- When should I use it?
Why not right now. If you have a meeting you are trying to set up, just sign up and set up a meeting. All you need
is an email address, and we promise not to spam you. Believe me we know how it is when you signup for something and
all of a sudden you are getting 3 emails a day from them. We won't do that. It bugs us as much as it bugs you.
Hey, if you don't have a meeting to set up right now, it is almost certain you will need to some time in the future.
Just bookmark us, and come back when you need us.
Technical
- What is an Attendee?
An attendee is anyone who will potentially attend your event.
- Can an Attendee update his or her response?
Sure, they just need to follow the link in the original email invite. If they have lost or deleted it,
you can always send them another.
- Can Attendees suggest althernate times?
Yes. When they respond, they will have the opportunity to suggest alternate times/locations.
If they do, a notification will be sent to all the other attendees, so they can have an
opportunity to respond for that location too.
- What will the people I invite see?
Try it in Test Mode. That way you get the emails, and can see exactly what your attendees will see.
- What is Test Mode?
When you are logged in, there is a switch at the top of the screen. When you are in test mode,
all emails will be sent to your account.
You will get the emails with live links so you can follow
them and respond as they would.
You will see exactly what your attendees will see, so you know what they are looking at if they
have problems.
When you are done testing, just flip the switch to live and send your emails. By the way there
is a reset button on the status page which will reset everything back to zero when you are done testing.
- What does the Reset Button do?
The reset button is available on the logged in status page, when you are in test mode.
It will reset the event in preparation for setting the account to live.
Event times and locations will be saved, but responses will be deleted, and invite sent
counts will be reset to zero.
